Job Seeker FAQ

The first step is to fill out and submit your application. You can download the application here, or you can come into our office to pick up an application. If you have a resume, please attach it to the application. You will need to turn in the application in person to our office.

The next step is to make sure you call us on the days you are available to work. A good time to call is 8:00-9:00 am. If you are looking for weekend work, please call in on Fridays. Calling in is the BEST way to let us know you are looking for work.

We provide staffing for a wide variety of fields, from clerical and administrative work to industrial, construction, and various labor positions. We have both temporary and permanent positions available.

No, because of the fast-paced nature of our agency, we do not post jobs online. The best way to find out about the latest job openings is to call in on a regular basis.

Pay rates are determined on a job by job basis. We will provide all the necessary information (pay rate, duration, etc.) when we offer you a position so you may make an informed decision if you want to accept the job.

Yes, you can reject any job offered without it counting against you with our agency. If you accept the job, however, we do expect you to abide by the terms of the job and our agency.

If we have placed you on an assignment that is not working out for any reason, please contact us immediately so we can resolve the situation. We understand that not all jobs are a good fit for everyone, but if you do not tell us, we will not know. Not calling us and not showing up for work will severely damage your ability to receive other assignments.

We pay on Fridays only for the previous week’s work. For any job assignment, you need to bring a timecard. Keep track of your hours during the work week (Monday-Sunday). You have until the following Wednesday to turn in the timecard in order to be paid on that Friday. Checks are available on Friday at 7:30 am. If you would like your check mailed, please mark that box in the time-slip.

We do not provide advances for any reason. For some assignments, we are able to offer Early Pay, in which you can get a check on Friday for the current week’s hours. We will deduct $0.25 per hour, and we are not able to provide this service for all assignments.

If you have not filled out an application in over a year, we advise that you resubmit one so we have the most current information and are best able to place you in a job.

Employer FAQ

The best way to start the job hiring process is to call us. We will discuss the kind of worker you are seeking, what our services provide, and how you want us to conduct the screening process. You can also find the necessary paperwork you will need to complete here on our Employer’s page.

We provide staffing for a wide variety of fields, from clerical and administrative work to industrial, construction, and various labor positions. We provide both temporary and permanent staffing solutions.

Absolutely. If you want to try someone out for a few weeks before you bring them on your payroll, or you simply want to use our payroll services, we will help you with your payroll needs.

In order to determine your bill rate, we calculate a bill rate multiplier. Then, we multiply that number by the employee’s pay rate, and that will be your hourly bill rate. Your multiplier will depend on a number of factors, mainly the kind of business you have and the kind of work the employees will do. Our costs include Worker’s Comp and General Liability, the employer’s portions of the taxes, and all associated fees. Because the workers are our employees, we provide their W-2s at the end of the year.

We can provide drug screens and background checks (national or statewide) on any employee upon request. The cost is $10 for either a drug screen or a background check.

Because we are a locally-owned, independent agency, we are able to tailor the employee search in order to fit your needs. We will go through our database of hundreds of applicants in order to find the right fit based on your criteria. If you would like to see resumes, conduct interviews, or both, we can facilitate your needs.

Unfortunately, not every person is right for every job. We strive to make a perfect match for each assignment, but if you are unsatisfied in any way with the employee we have provided, please let us know immediately so we can resolve the situation.

If you want to hire the employee we sent, we ask that you keep them on our payroll for 35 working days (280 hours). After that time period, you can take them onto your payroll at any time for no fee. If they have not worked 35 working days, we can determine a small finder’s fee. If you have sent the employee to us directly, you can take them onto your payroll at any time. Of course, you may keep someone on our payroll as long as you wish.

We pay our employees every Friday for the previous week’s work. We will mail out the invoice to you on the following Monday. If you would like to pay by credit card, please contact us. We accept Visa, MasterCard, and American Express.

We are able to send workers for a variety of jobs at your house, from move jobs to yard work. Please contact us so we can discuss your individual needs.
